Mrs. Mercer,
Although I have only known you for such a short time, I am sadden at the passing of your husband. I truly enjoyed the stories you shared with me regarding your marriage and life. Find strength and comfort in God and your precious memories of your dear husband. Know that to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord! Weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning! I am praying for you and your family!

Dear Jessie Bell, Squirrel, & Rosilyn, I woke up this morning (03/06/2010), about 3:00 a.m., because my stomach was hurting. So I turned on the computer and was reading the notice where my Cousin Willie had passed away and I was very saddened. Please know that I love you all so very much and I miss being around all of you. My prayers go out to my Family this morning. I know that God is still on His Throne and I know that He's watching over all of you. So, be it a sad period for all of us, just know that God has my Cousin and I know he is in good hands now. I love you all so very much and the Boys, John, Clancy, Cedric, & Jerome Atwood, all send their love too. God bless each and everyone of you until We meet again! West Texas!

Dear Jessie, we are sorry we will be unable to attend the funeral on Tuesday due to a funeral at Toliver also on Tuesday morning. We will keep you in our prayers. If possible we may try to meet you all in Killeen for the 1:00 p.m. interment. Take care and may God keep you in his care.
