Miss Lena, Niecy, and Leah!! I love you and I am here for you. Be strong and dry your eyes because I know that is what Mr Lee would want.

It was in deed a blessing to know Mr Lee and God knows I am going to miss that good Peppercorn (smile). My prayers are with you and I pray that God will give each of you the strength to carryon. You must keep running this race we call life but we just run it knowing, trusting and believing in God. We love you and may God continue to bless and keep you.

Love always,
Trena, Brian, and Keondre'

Having come from such a large family with so many uncles and aunts. I have to say that Uncle Manuel was one of my favorites - No matter what was going on he always had time for us kids. And a very handsome uncle he was!

It was a wonderful pleasure and opportunity to have the chance to know 'Daddy'. My heart goes out to each of you, but it most be comforting to know that he knew and loved his Savior and what a blessing to know that he is resting in peace with our Father in heaven!

Lena and Mercer Family, I had the pleasure of working with Lee. He was such a nice and friendly person and made the most fantastic peppercorn dish : ) I am so sorry for your loss, but God knows best. If there's ever anything I can do, please do not hesitate to ask.

Sincerely,

To the Mercer family: I had the privelege of serving with Lee on the USS Ogden. He could pitch a softball faster than anyone I had seen. But, he left an impression more as being a good man. It was my pleasure to see Lee and meet Lena and Leah just recently. I know he will be missed, but being with God isn't a bad thing. We will be praying for the family.
