Guestbook for Sherwin Lawrence Sanders Showing 1 - 6 of 6 entries.

Sherwin was like a mentor to me when I took my first job at Goodwill after graduating from college. Sherwin brought a sense of humor to the workplace, always willing to take 5 minutes out of his day to brighten someones spirits. He will be deeply missed. My thoughts are with his family.

I am so sorry I did not learn of Sherwin's passing until 10:15 this morning, the day of his service. I would definitely have been there to honor him and offer condolences to his family. I worked with Sherwin for many years at the Texas Rehabilitation Commission. He was a joy to work with and cared immensely for the clients he served. Rozenna, I am so sorry for your loss.

I am so sorry for the loss of Sherwin. He truly was a wonderful and great man. I met him when I worked briefly with the TRC South Austin Field Office in 1996 and considered him a friend ever since. May God be with all of you at this time and I will keep you in my prayers.

You were one of the first people I met at Goodwill during my orientation at the GCC. As I walked into the break room you greeted me with a smile and welcomed me into the company. years passed on and I worked for other non-profits, but when ever our paths crossed you always smiled and said hello, we always conversed like no time had passed since we last saw one another. in each conversation we had you always mentioned someone that need help. You were always looking out for others. I will keep on fighting the good fight for you brother, until we meet again. God Bless.

My condolences to the entire family of our loved Sherwin. I worked with Sherwin at Goodwill in Austin since 2004. He was such an amazing coworker, friend and support to the community. His smile, kind heart and love of food, music and his generosity and giving nature will always be remembered. I moved to Chicago 2 years ago and called him right when I moved here. Hugs and love to the entire family. Sherwin and I always shared photos of my kids and his grandchildren with us at work, he said they call me GRANDfather. I will miss him so much and know that he lives on in our memories and hearts.
