Mrs. Enell Dockery Brown was born July 15, 1915 to Jonah and Annie Dockery. She attended the Fayette County Schools. She accepted Christ at an early age. She united in marriage to Curtis Brown, Sr. They moved to Williamson County where she found hope in Christ with Mt.Zion Baptist Church in Jonah, Texas under the leadership of Pastor B. J. Page.

Enell relocated to San Antonio for over twenty years where she united with The Church of The Living God Temple #3. After moving back to Austin, she became a member of Little Ebenezer Baptist Church in Hutto, Texas under the leadership of the late Pastor Isiah Brown, until her health failed.

Enell was preceded in death by her husband, Curtis Brown, Sr. and five children, Gloria Manor, A. C. Brown, Pastor Isiah Brown, Torris Dickerson and Ella Mae Williams.

She leaves to cherish her loving memories to her baby girl Ethel Mae Green and four sons, Clourid Williams of Houston, Texas, Leo Brown (Shirley), Wilbert Brown (Viola) of Austin, Texas, Curtis Brown, Jr. (Mecci) of Taylor, Texas; step son Charles Brown; and a host of grand, great and great great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
