Alexander (Alex) Hodge, Jr

From a Humble beginning Alexander Hodge, Jr. " Alex" was born on April 4, 1946 in Cedar Creek, Texas to Alexander Hodge, Sr. and Narvell Fowler Hodge.

He professed a hope in Christ at an early age and joined Shiloh Primitive Baptist Church.

He graduated from Emile High School in 1965. Later, on he received his Bachelor Degree at Huston Tilloston College in 1988. His beginnings were modest and held a host of successful jobs, but his ambitious were vast and at the time of death he was a general partner of Castleberry Instruments.

His father, Alexander Hodge, Sr. and mother Narvell Fowler Hodge preceded him in death.

He is survived by his wife Pearlie Hodge of Austin, TX; two daughters, Yvonne Bookman and husband, Eric of Austin, TX and Yvette Hodge Williams of Pflugerville, TX. He is also survived by two sister; Betty Banks of Pflugerville, TX and Frankie White and husband, Samuel of Orange, TX; one brother, James Hodge and wife, Hattie; four grandchildren, Erica Bookman, Alexander (Alex) Bookman, Evan Bookman, Destiny Owens and special granddaughter Kiarah Williams; two aunts, Odell Bell McDonald of Bastrop, TX and Artelia Butler of Amarillo, TX; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
