On September 7, 1947 a beautiful spirit was born to parents Weldon and Ola Lee Fowler Bryant in Austin, Texas whom they named Ola Mae Bryant.

Ola Mae attended L. C. Anderson High School in Austin, Texas. After high school, she joined the U. S. Marine Corps. She was united in marriage to Theodore H. Clemons on August 17, 1969. She moved to California in 1969 where she resided for 39 years. She was employed for many years as a Home Health Nurse and later as an Inspector for Industrial Tectonics Bearings for 7 years. In August 2010 she moved back to Austin, Texas to be near her loved ones. Her favorite past time was playing cards, dancing and being with family.

On May 19, 2011 at 7:15 p.m. the Lord called Sister Ola Mae Clemons home.

She confessed her faith in Christ at an early age and was baptized at St. Paul Primitive Baptist Church, Austin, Texas under the pastoralship of Rev. Charles Watts.

Ola Mae was preceded in death by her parents Ola Lee Thompson and Weldon Bryant, Sr.

Ola Mae leaves to cherish her memory her husband, the love of her life Theodore Clemons, Sr.; beloved step-son Theodore Clemons, Jr., Austin, Texas; brother Weldon Bryant, Jr. (Teri), Fargo, North Dakota; sisters Helen Bryant Lott, Austin, Texas, Viola Thompson, Austin, Texas, and Bridget Bolden (Daniel) who she also considered her daughter, and Birdie Bryant, very special step mom and step siblings, brother Edward Mays; sisters Brenda McCradic (Michael) and Elaine Mays; nephews Sean Lott (China), Pflugerville, Texas and Damon Bryant (Marsha) of Maryland; niece Charia Anderson, Sioux Falls, South Dakota; great nephews Daniel Bryant and Blayze Lott; great niece Solimar Lott; and a host of cousins and other relatives and friends.
