Cheryl Wimbish Kellough, the second child of four born to Cornelius F. Wimbish and Alberta Williams Wimbish on September 13, 1954. She was baptized at St. John Baptist Church in Corpus Christi, Texas by
Rev. Harold T. Branch at eight years old.

Cheryl attended school in Corpus Christi, Texas and graduated from W.B. Ray High School in May 1972. She attended Texas Woman's University in Denton, Texas in September 1972 and transferred to the University of Texas at Austin in 1974. She received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of Texas at Austin in May 1976. She went to work for the Mental Health and Mental Retardation in Corpus Christi in 1977 after graduation. She moved to Austin, Texas in 1979 to begin employment with the Board of Pardons & Parole in Travis County, where she worked until 1989.

Cheryl was married to Dence Kellough on April 11, 1980. The couple just celebrated 31 years of marriage. Cheryl gave birth to the couple's only child, Krystal Wimbish Kellough on February 6, 1989. She was a devoted wife and mother. Cheryl resumed her career in 1991 with the Williamson County Adult Probation Department as a Supervisor in Georgetown, Round Rock and later in Taylor.

Memories of Cheryl's sense of humor and her playful smile will forever be cherished by her husband, Dence, her daughter, Krystal, her mother-in-law; Bobbie Kellough, her brother-in-law; Dexter and his two daughters, Tatiyana and Shaniya Kellough, her parents and her three brothers; Michael (Jennifer) Wimbish, Vincent (Kim)Wimbish, Cornelius (Jackie) Wimbish III, and her nieces; Keithia, Venishia, Jessica, and Megan Wimbish, and nephews; Michael Jr. (Jesslynn) and Ferriah Antwon Wimbish and a host of other relatives, friends, and co-workers.
