Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, Edna Ray Campbell Scott Cavanaugh was born to the late Mr. Herbert Campbell and Paralee Washington in McLennon County, Texas.

She attended school and Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church in Rosenthal, Texas.

David Wilbert Jarvis, born in Travis County, Austin, Texas on January 27, 1943 to David Crockett Jarvis and Edna R. Campbell preceded her in death on August 30, 1999.

She united in holy matrimony with Joel Scott, who preceded her in death in 1994. Her son, Donnie J. Scott was born on May 18, 1945.

Later in life she married Mr. Oliver Cavanaugh, who also preceded her in death in 2007.

She worked as a cook at The City of Austin (City Jail).

She united with Pleasant Grove Baptist Church under the Pastoral Leadership of J. J. Dixon and was a faithful member until her health failed her on November 3, 2010. She actively served in Mission II. Pleasant Grove Baptist Church is currently under the Pastoral Leadership of Billy Billups.

Several years back, her son, Donnie J. Scott spoke with her concerning her relationship with Christ, telling her if she wanted to see her son David again, she would have to have a personal relationship with Jesus. She opened up her heart and accepted Jesus Christ as her personal Savior by confessing, repenting, and believing. "And it shall come to pass that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved." Acts 2:21. He told her that joining church was not enough to get her into Heaven. She listened and received the Lord as her Savior. "TO GOD BE THE GLORY"

Her transition from earth to eternal life in Heaven was Tuesday, March 8, 2011 at 10:30 P.M. "We are confident, I say and willing rather to be absent from the body and to be present with the Lord." II Corinthians 5:8.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her sister, Rosie Lee Hill; son, Donnie J. Scott (Mary); adopted son, Michael Harris (Carmen); three granddaughters, Saundra A. Scott, Sheryl E.
