She attended Bedichek Middle School and was in the 7th Grade when she departed this life.

Kathryn enjoyed playing the Clarinet and was a member of the Bedichek Bobcat Band. She was an outstanding student and person. She upheld her Christian standards in the school setting and did not succumb to peer presure or follow in the wrong footsteps. Kathryn was a member of the National Junior Honor Society, an Honor's student, and was commended on her TAKS Testing. She demonstrated and believed in the characteristics and good stewardship, and was helpful and friendly to all that knew her.
