She was a beautiful child who was loved by all her family and friends. She attended Widen Elementary from Pre-K to the 1st grade. She then completed her Elementary schooling at Odom Elementary. She attended Bedichek Middle School and was in the 7th Grade when she departed this life.

Kathryn enjoyed playing the Clarinet and was a member of the Bedichek Bobcat Band. She was an outstanding student and person. She upheld her Christian standards in the school setting and did not succumb to peer presure or follow in the wrong footsteps. Kathryn was a member of the National Junior Honor Society, an Honor's student, and was commended on her TAKS Testing. She demonstrated and believed in the characteristics and good stewardship, and was helpful and friendly to all that knew her. Kathryn had a smile that could light a room and a laughter that was joyous and contagious. She enjoyed singing, dancing and watching wrestling with her family. She was truly a happy child that wanted to do her best and make her family proud.

She was a member of Corinth Missionary Baptist Church, where sne was baptized in June of 2004. Kathryn was an active member and participated in the CMBC Youth Choir, Junior Usher Board, Praise Team, Step Team and the Youth Advisory Board.

She was all these things and although young in age, she lived a full life that has left an impressionalbe mark in the hearts, minds, and memories of those that were blessedl to know her. She had goals of going to Harvard and becoming a Pediatrician. She was also given another set of Goals by her Savior Jesus Christ and she was a diligent servant that completed her work. She received the highest of honors and her name was called, as it had been written, she gladly took her place in his kingdom.
