Harry Clark Harper, Jr. was born Saturday, June 30, 1979 to Harry Clark Harper, Sr. and the departed Clara Marie Harper.

At an early age he professed Christ and joined the Pleasant Valley Baptist Church in Creedmoor, Texas. He later became a member of the Antioch Community Church under the leadership of Rev. Joseph Cavanaugh. He later began to attend St. James with his children.

Harry was a great father. He attended every football game, summer league games, and various school and church activities. He loved outdoor activities, basketball, football, and especially the family kickball games.

He held down various jobs until he inherited his self-employed farm business and he also worked for Joe Tristan Hay Hauling Industries.

He was preceded in death by his mother Clara M. Harper; two brothers Robert Ockletree, Lloyd Cavanaugh and one sister, Bennie Jean Alexander.

He leaves to cherish his memories his father, Harry Clark Harper, Sr.; six sisters, Sandra D. Harper, Crystal Harper, Norral Harper, Michelle Cavanaugh, Frances Cavanaugh and Barbara Roberson; five brothers, Greg Cavanaugh, Zachary Cavanaugh, William James Cavanaugh, Jesse B. Scott, Jr. and Lester Tobias; his children: son Desmond Harper and his mom Tasha Giles; sons Brayshon Harper, Darren Harper and their mom Tiffany Mays; sons Brenden Carter-Harper, Braylon Harper, harry C. Harper, III and one daughter Brea Harper and their mom Kia Carter. Harry also leaves several godchildren he sponsored; and a host of nieces, nephews special nephews Jesse and Terrance who he acknowledged as brothers; and all of his Dove Springs friends he grew up with.
