David Fowler was the youngest and last surviving son of Richard and Luvenia Fowler. He was born on December 6, 1920 and departed this life on September 10, 2010.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two brother, four sisters and one daughter.

After spending several years in the armed forces, David tried his hand at many trades, but carpentry became his field of expertise. He designed and built the house he lived in until his death.

He enjoyed playing cards and dominos, and sitting on his porch in his favorite pair of boots watching the activities in his neighborhood. He was always building or fixing something in his garage.

Many would describe him as somewhat of a free spirit. He enjoyed each day as he saw fit and lived it to the fullest. He often said he could never stand in judgment of others (not even his children) because of the way he had lived his life.

As the years began to fade, but still in good health, he loved to sit and talk about family - reflecting on memories of his childhood and the different relationships he had with his parents, siblings, children, nieces and nephews, all of which meant a lot to him.

With his passing, the torch is passed to the next generation of descendents of Richard and Luvenia Fowler.

His survived by four sons, one daughter, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and several devoted nieces and nephews.
