Willie Mae Williams was born to Mary Lowe and Dorsey Cairo on December 24, 1915 in Manor, Texas.

She professed a hope in Christ at an early age and was baptized by the Rev. W. T. Brown at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. She later joined Park Spring Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. C. H. Jones; then to St. Paul Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. B. Hansborrow and her final church home was at Blacks Memorial Baptist Church where she remained until death.

Willie Mae Williams was preceded in death by Bennie Williams (Jimbo), her husband of sixth-six years; her parents; brothers Dorsey Cairo and Godfrey Green; grandchildren Billie Jean Shaw, Ricky Bunton, Tonnie Elliott, Roderick (Roy) Williams, Bennie Edward Williams, IV, and Montroce Williams.

She leaves to cherish her memory six children, Gladys Huddleston of Kansas City, Missouri, Wilton Williams of Pflugerville, Texas, Bennie Williams, III, Percy Jean Elliott, Alonzo Williams, and Thelma Williams, all of Austin, Texas; twenty-six grandchildren; fifty-six great grandchildren; fifty-one great great granchildren; and one sixth generation grandchild; sisters Mildred Carter and Eddie B. Carothers; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
