Charlotte Elaine Nealy was born to Mack Nealy and Zara Nealy on October 20, 1958 in Travis County. She received her education at the Blackshear, Maplewood and Pearce schools, graduating from John H. Reagan High School. Charlotte furthered her education at Lamar University, Beaumont, Texas.

Charlotte accepted Christ at an early age and diligently worked at Wesley United Methodist Church. Later, she joined Freedom Home Baptist Church where she continued to serve in Kingdom work until God called her home.

The Lord blessed Charlotte with two beautiful children, Terrell and Carla Nealy. Charlotte loved her children dearly and spent countless hours supporting her children in all of their endeavors.

She was preceded in death by her sister Patricia Nealy, nephew John Jones and great nephew Deion Bowles. Charlotte leaves many who will always honor and cherish her memory: her parents Mack Nealy of Teague, Texas and Zara Nealy of Austin, Texas; one son, Terrell Nealy of Austin, Texas; one daughter, Carla Nealy of Austin, Texas; her granddaughter Zarianna Nealy of Austin, Texas; two sisters, Cherryl Priestley of Austin, Texas, Ramonia Glenn (Chris) of Killeen, Texas; one brother, Mack Nealy, Jr. of Austin, Texas; two nieces, Monisha Jones of Austin, Texas and Christana Lyons (Marecus); two nephews, Sholane Nealy of Austin, Texas and Chris Glen, Jr.; three great nieces, Dominique Bowles, Dakaila Johns and Tahyana A. Williams, all of Austin, Texas; one great nephew, Dameion Bowles of Austin, Texas; and a host of uncles, aunts, cousins and friends.
