Patricia Ann "Tutta" Touchstone was born Patricia Ann Bellinger to Horace and Mary Dell Bellinger in Austin, Texas on April 12, 1943. She was the third of four children and the only girl.

In 1961, she graduated from Old Anderson High School and from there went on to pursue higher education at the University of Texas at Austin.

Patricia married James Earl Touchstone in 1968 and their union produced three children: Joy Lynn Touchstone, MD who currently resides in Plano, Texas, O'Ron James Touchstone who currently resides in Houston, Texas and Charmelia Ann Touchstone who died in infancy.

Patricia was a devoted member of Greater Mount Zion Baptist Church in Austin, Texas. She had a caring spirit and a love for children which was evident through her work as a day care center director at Child Incorporated for many years. Subsequently she was employed as a clerk for the United States Postal Service.

During the late 1980s, Patricia faced her greatest challenge when she was diagnosed with a brain tumor that eventually lead to a debilitative stroke. Despite the challenges presented, Patricia remained strong in her faith and displayed a positive spirit.

She passed away peacefully on August 9, 2010. She is survived by her two children, Joy and O'Ron Touchstone (Jamilla) as well as her brother and sister, Thomas Jack Bellinger (Eddie) and Horacetta Bellinger and numerous nephews, nieces and cousins.
