On September 8, 1957, Anthony Eugene Mosley (Moses) was born to Kellie Jo Mosley and W. K. Hicks in Texarkana, Texas. Moses was the first child born. He attended public schools in Austin, Texas where he graduated from John Reagan High School. He also attended school at Nuckols Academy where he received his license to be a security officer at Nuckols & Associates Security, Inc. on June 6, 1982.

He served in the United States Marine Corps. After an honorable discharge, he was employed by Popeye's Fried Chicken on Airport for over 14 years, where he received numerous awards for Outstanding Team Player. He then was employed at Ace Parking for over 12 years until his health failed.

He confessed a hope in Christ at an early age and united with Emmanuel Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. C. L. Davis and in later years, he moved his membership to Willie Chapel Primitive Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. J. D. Winn and remained an active member.

He had his first son, Anthony Eugene Moseley, Jr. (Lil' Moses) at the age of 20 with Mary Louise Diggs. Later, he had three other children with ex-wife Willie Mae Ellison-Mosley of 26 years.

Moses was preceded in death by his mother, Mrs. Kellie Jo Burns, two sisters, Jenifer Denise Burns, Kellie Roshea Burns, his grandparents Mr. L. C. Favors and Johnnie Mae Favors, great grandparents Mr. George White, Clarneta White and Bud Wiser, Sr., one nephew Larry Donnell Henderson, three uncles Bud Wiser, Jr., Ernest Leon Favors and Roger Lewis Favors.

He leaves to mourn his home going, fiancé Mamie Hicks of Austin, Texas; mothers of his children Mary Louise Diggs-Crayton of Austin, Texas and ex-wife Willie Mae Ellison-Mosley of Cleveland, Ohio; three sons, Anthony Eugene Mosley, Jr. (Elizah) of Austin, Texas, Lyle Avery Ellison (Dionna) of Cleveland, Ohio, Paul Eugene Mosley of Anchorage, Alaska; one daughter, Rachel Elaine Mosley (Arthur) of Houston, Texas; ten grandchildren; stepfather Rev. James Edward Burns of Dime Box, Texas; four sisters, Johnnie Marie Mosley, Clarneta Burns-Earthman (Donnell) of Austin, Texas, Sandra Kay Chase (Jerry) of Houston, Texas, Stephanie Elaine Burns (Kevin) of Round Rock, Texas; two brothers Clarence Edward Burns (Pattie) and Stephen Lane Burns (Bonnie) of Austin, Texas; five uncles, Oliver White (Tabitha) of Houston, Texas, Jerry Lemmond Favors (Marsha), Addison Jerome Favors (Judy) of Austin, Texas, Robert Earl Favors (Gina) of Kansas City, Missouri and Chester Favors of Austin, Texas; one aunt Rose Mills of Houston, Texas; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
