Sheila Renelle Lemon (Twin) quietly passed into the warm embrace of her Savior, Jesus Christ on Wednesday, July 28, 2010 in Austin Texas.
Sheila entered the world April 1, 1965 to her loving mother Mildred Thompson of Austin, Texas.
Sheila professed her love of Christ and dedicated her life to serving Him, even in trying times she expressed her love and belief in Jesus. Sheila enjoyed a loving and close relationship with her mother, all of her children, siblings, and extended family. Often being the life of the party.

Sheila was a mother, friend, sister, aunt , volunteer, and most importantly a servant of God. Sheila always had the heart of a servant. She dedicated her life to her helping others through her volunteerism, activisms and being the voice for the voiceless. She was never ashamed to share her testimony of God�s deliverance and healing power. She championed and shared her talents with various causes that made a difference in the lives of the people that society looked downed upon. New Zion Women�s and Prison Ministry, The Salvation Army, Front Steps Program, AIDS Services of Austin, & House the Homeless are just a few of the causes that Sheila freely gave her time.

Graduating from Lanier High School, Vogue Cosmetology School, Austin Area Urban League, and Apollo Business School of Austin, Texas Sheila believed in education and preparing for a better and brighter future.

She leaves to celebrate her life three children: sons, Gregory Thompson and Lionel Lemon Jr.; daughter, Asia Butler; mother Mildred Thompson and step-father Ernest Irvin; three sisters: Ava Clark (Stanley), Lisa Thompson (twin) and Rhonda Edwards; three brothers: Ray Thompson (Doris), Kenneth Thompson Sr. (Alisha) and Reginald Thompson, all of Austin; three nephews: Kenneth Thompson Jr. of Washington DC; Cory Edwards and Marcus Edwards of Austin, Texas; one niece; Kiandra Thompson and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. She joins her husband Lionel Lemon Sr. and father Woodrow Sterling Jr. who proceeded her to heaven.
