Donald Ray Hatch loved being called "Big Baby" by his dad. Donald Ray Hatch was born on November 18, 1957 in Austin, Texas into the union of Mr. Conny B. Hatch, III of Smithville, TX. and Mrs. Florence Lee Hatch of Lott, Texas.

Donald was a loving spirit, a person who had the love of God in his heart. And that love was expressed to everyone that he came into contact with especially to his dad and other family members. Donald attended elementary school in Austin, Texas-finishing twelve years of education graduating from the Jerry Clifton Manuel arts school. Donald was gainfully employed at Tracor Motorola as a lab technician for several months where he later worked at Roy Lee grocery as a stock clerk on Manor Road until his health failed.

Donald confessed a hope in Christ at an early age, by joining the Memorial Baptist Church pastored by his uncle Rev. J. H. Howard, and proceeded in being baptized along with his dad and his brother Conny III in the Colorado River located along Highway # 71 near the subdivision of Montopolis area in August of 1968.

Family members preceded in death before Donald's calling home are as follows: Florence Lee Hatch (Mother), brothers Willie Aaron Duncan, Louis Duncan, and Sisters Barbara Duncan-Chavez, and Shirley Ann Hatch

Surviving family members who know share the loving memories of Donald are his dad Conny B. Hatch, II-(Sisters) Cynthia L. Richardson-Hatch of Austin, TX. Edna Duncan of Austin, TX, and Versie Lavelle Griffin of Austin, TX. Brothers: Conny B. Hatch, III and his wife Aretha Hatch of Austin, TX. And Larry J. Hatch of Austin, TX. , Danny Duncan of Houston, TX, Marvin Duncan, of Austin, TX and Ronnie Sims of Dallas, TX. Along with a host of nieces and nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends who are not truly not forgotten.
