Theressa Louise Walker Jones was born December 1, 1946 in Gonzales, Texas. She was the first child of nine born to the late Theressa House and Linzy Walker.

She attended school in San Antonio, Texas. After the family moved to Austin in the late 50ís, she attended Blackshear Elementary, Kealing Junior High and old L. C. Anderson High School.

She married Aaron Johnson in 1965. Louise had one child, Alberta Evette Walker. Later she married Mac Henry Houston in 1977.

Louise was a CNA working in private homes and later retired from the University of Texas to raise her nine grandchildren, later adopting the five youngest.

Louise loved the church. She had countless friends and was loved by many. She was the caretaker of her sisters and brothers and helped our mother raise us.

Louise is preceded in death by her mother, father, and sister Joan Walker.

She leaves to cherish precious memories her sister and caretaker Betsy Walker, Patricia Walker Ferguson, Debra Walker; her best buddy Brother Emmitt Walker; brothers Lynn Walker, Cornelius Walker, Moses Williams; one of the best brothers-in law, Robert Ferguson; special niece Hope Wellington for opening her heart and home; grandchildren, Danvie, Joan, Olajuwon, Mark, Zybra, Zachary, Jakira, Kendall and David; nine great grandchildren; twenty-two nieces and nephews; thirty-two great nieces and nephews; one aunt, Minnie McVea of Gonzales, Texas; beloved partner Charles Jones; and a host of other relatives and friends.
