Larnell Sayles Williams was born October 6, 1946 in Lockhart, Texas to her late father Nathaniel Kindred and mother Essie Mae Sayles Riep.

She attended schools in Lockhart and Austin. She later graduated from Nixon-Clay Business College in Austin.

She accepted the Lord as her Savior at St. James Baptist Church in Austin, Texas under the late Reverend E. M. Franklin.

On December 18, 1970 she married Robert L. Williams. Robert and Larnell moved to Illinois where she became a loyal employee at Motorola for twenty-one years. During the time they lived in Illinois, they became members of First Baptist Church under Reverend Allen E. Eaton. On their return to Austin, they rejoined her husbandís church, Mount Olive Baptist Church, under Reverend R. C. Smith, where she became an usher until her health declined.

She is survived by her mother, Essie M. Riep; her loving husband of thirty-nine years, Robert L. Williams; sons Mark H. Jones (wife Angela), Michael D. Williams (wife Andrea); daughters Macheral L. Jones, Christie L. Costa (husband Gregory); grandchildren Matthew P. Costa, Emmanuel Valentin, Alexanderia M. Mesfin, Michelle M. Valentin, Miles H. Jones, Olivia M. Jones, Maxwell R. Joes, Morgan B. Williams, Tyson N. Jones, Gavin M. Williams; great grandchild Angelina S. Valentin.

She is also survived by her siblings Robert Sykes (wife Sandra), Lawrence Sykes, Willie Sykes (wife Apryl), Ruthie M. Sykes, and Ada I. Sykes; four aunts, Ozie M. McVea, Laura B. Giles, Mae Ella M. Branch, Bernice Pinchback (husband Joe); in-laws Deitric and Shelly Harrington; and numerous loving cousins and relatives.
