Eunice Marie Baker was born to Mr. Thomas Triggs and Ms. Willie Lee Baker on November 22, 1939.

Eunice entered into eternal life on November 16, 2009 when God at His own will and power called her soul to rest in peace. She heard the call and departed this life by closing her eyes to a peaceful sleep.

Eunice in her early years confessed a deep love for Christ. She was a member of Pleasant Grove Missionary Baptist Church where she was the Mission II President. She was a devoted and active member of the St. John Regular Baptist District Association Mission II, Head of the Hospitality Committee, Choir member and Member of Lily Of The Valley O.E.S Chapter 119 Austin, Texas. Eunice was a faithful and dedicated servant of God who got her joy out of doing anything that needed to be done for God even when her health was failing.

Eunice was a woman of "Excellence" filled with godly wisdom. A woman of "Integrity" standing up for righteousness. A woman of "Destiny" living out God's plan by being guided by His hand. A woman of "Promise" standing on God's word holding on to all the truths while carrying out her works. Eunice was a woman that would never compromise the faith with what the world may offer. A woman who loved Jesus and would follow Him gladly to give up the world so His light can shine within.

Eunice retired from IBM after 15 years of service. She was also a private duty nurse which gave her great joy to love and help others in a great way. Eunice loved going fishing in Corpus Christi, Texas and cooking for her church. She enjoyed meeting and sharing with everyone she met. Her gentle smile brought so much joy to her family and friends and she will be missed greatly by her family and everyone who knew her.

Eunice's life would seem short to many, but those who were touched by her, understood that the quality of existence far exceeds the quantity of time in which one lives.

Eunice was preceded in death by her Father Thomas Triggs, Mother Willie Lee Baker and a very special daughter in-law Jacqueline D. Jackson.

Eunice leaves to cherish her loving memories five sons, Travis Jackson Jr., Dwayne E. Jackson Sr., Stanley Jackson, David Jackson (Venus) and Anthony Jackson: seven grandchildren, Dwayne Jackson Jr., David Jackson, Jr., Derrick Jackson, Marcus Jackson, Monique Jackson, Anthony "Cole" Guyton-Jackson, Cor're Jackson; and two great-great grandchildren Dwayne Jackson III and Denise Jacqueline Jackson; one brother, Thomas Triggs, Jr.; along with a host of other relatives and friends.

Services entrusted to A Life Celebration by Franklin, Taylor, Texas.
