On September 14, 1928, Jeroma Louise Ellison was born in Clinton, Oklahoma to the union of Dave Bonner and Louise (Basped) Bonner. She departed this life on Sunday, October 4, 2009.

She professed a hope in Christ at an early age. She attended the Austin Public Schools and graduated from L. C. Anderson High School.

She was a retired cook.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husbands, McKinley Hodge and Edward Wallace Ellison; a special friend, John O. (Jack) Hayden; sisters Mary Anne Maxfield, Opal Baker and Clifford DeWitty; brothers, Henry Bonner and Nathaniel "Bubby" Maxfield, all of Austin, Texas.

She leaves to cherish her memories nieces, Charmaine (LC) Drummond and Anita (Don) Morrison Williams.

Also, she leaves an extended family to whom she was mother, grandmother and great grandmothers to: Alice Scott (niece and special caregiver), George Williams, Diona Williams, Marion Williams, and Alicia Williams. She was god mother to Mrs. Sibyl Dudley Sifflet and Pastor Floyd Fontenot, Jr., now serving his country in Iraq; and other relatives and friends.
