Austin resident Sid Kline, 92 died September 16th 2009 in the hospital.

A memorial service is being planned for at the home of her daughter Janie Prestidge.

Born Siddie Elizabeth Peed in North Carolina. Sid owned and operated Sid's Beauty Shop in Burlington, NC for many years, prior to moving to Pasadena Texas, where she continued to practice her cosmetologist skills for retirement homes in the Houston area.

She liked to travel. Some of her favorites were Turkey, Ireland & England just to name a few.

Her footprints have touched many people and she will be missed by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her brothers Ira, Willie & Oscar; son Kenneth H. Martin; two grandsons Bill Sturdivant, Jr. and Gary Ivey; two nephews Lowell and Linwood McCullouck.

She is survived by sister Velma Love of San Antonio, Texas; son Raymond Martin (wife Paryung)of Hawaii; daughter Janie Prestidge (husband JR) of Austin, Texas; niece Gayle McCullouck of San Antonio, Texas; grandchildren Viriya Choosri SFC US Army (wife Nittya) of Germany, Wararut Choosri of Thailand, Deanne Walker (Jerry) of Canton, Texas, Julie Maynard of Edgewood, Texas, Jimmy Martin of Peoria, Arizona, Valery Wakefield of Austin, Texas, Craig Martin of California; great grandchildren Sara Sturdivant of Peoria, Arizona, Lea Getro of Tyler, Texas, Holly Maynard of Edgewood, Texas, Chris Norman (Cara) of Edgewood, Texas, Raymond Choosri of Germany, Wararat Choosri of Germany, Lucas Torres of Austin, Texas, great-great grandchildren Hayden & Landon Norman of Edgewood, Texas.
