Annie Beatrice Taplin Williams, the oldest of four children, was born in Burton, Texas in the Flat Prairie Community of Washington County. She attended school in that community.

Annie B. confessed her belief in Christ the Lord at an early age and was baptized at Gay Hill Church. She later moved to Brenham, Texas and united with the Rocky Chapel Baptist Church under the leadership of her father, the Rev. Eddie Williams. She served faithfully as an usher and member of other auxiliaries in the church until her health failed.

She was a member of the Brenham Progressive Women Club, Lunch and Learn 4-H Club, the American Legion Post 814 Women Auxiliary, and many other civic organizations.

Annie B. was united into marriage with Oscar Taylor, Sr. Into this marriage two children were born, Oscar Taylor, Jr. and Dora Elaine Taylor.

Her parents the Rev. Eddie Williams and Sarah Taplin preceded her in death and one brother, Ike "Sonny" Bradford.

Annie B. leaves to cherish her memories: her son Oscar Taylor, Jr. and his wife Min. Sharian Taylor of Round Rock, Texas; daughter Dora E. Taylor of Brenham, Texas; grandchildren, Brian Oscar Taylor and his fiancée Erica of Pearland, Texas, the Rev. Terrence Price of Houston, Texas, Broderick Watts of Houston, Texas and Brittany Taylor of Brenham, Texas; her god-daughter, Beverly Hamilton Roberts and her hus-band Leonard of Houston, Texas; and three great-grand-children. She also leaves her two sisters, Luella Ray of Houston, Texas and Girlene Ray of Brenham, Texas and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
