Margie F. Williams-Ware, a native of Alleyton, Texas, Colorado County, was born to the proud parentage of Willie Lee Williams and Geneva Howard Williams on March 24, 1943.

Margie attended and graduated from public schools of Alleyton and Columbus, Texas. She attended Texas Southern University, completing studies in Business Administration.

She distinguished herself with a long business career at IBM and later became a Business Instructor at Capital City Trade School, a Senior Travel Agent Consultant for American Express, host of a local televisions show and a Gospel Broadcaster at radio stations KAZI 88.7 and KFIT 1060 AM of Austin. Locally, she was considered a pioneer in gospel radio, "the golden voice." Margie was former President of the Local Announcers Guild and the current First Vice President. She was a former Education Chair for Texas Announcers Guild.

She met and married Mr. Joe Ware and shared 29 years of marriage, an incredible love of matrimony. This wonderful love was shared with their two children, Tony and Calandra.

Margie accepted Christ at an early age and had a special love for God and people with a great passion to touch lives. She became a member of St. Stephens Missionary Baptist Church under the pastorage of Dr. B.J.E. McQueen, where she served as Greeters Coordinator, deeply involved in the Women's Ministry and worked closely with the Pastor's wife in ministries.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Willie and Geneva Williams and her brother, Theodore Williams.

Margie shall forever be loved with a special love and precious memories by her most faithful and devoted husband Joe Ware; loving children, son, Minister William Tony Ervin, Jr. (Ayesha), of Houston, Texas, daughter Calandra Y. Gamble (Wendell) of Flower Mound, Texas; loving grandchildren, William Tony, III, Bernard, Eric, Erica, Cameron, Collin and Taylor; one sister, Norma Carethers (Rev. Lonnie J.) of Fort Worth, Texas; nephews, Rodney J. Carethers (Teffey) of Dallas, Texas, Ted and Trenton Williams of Houston, Texas; aunts Olivia Gibbs of Houston Texas and Charlesetta Howard Jones of Columbus, Indiana; a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and numerous friends.

She was well known and will be remembered for her personal motto "Reach out and touch somebody's life while you're passing. You can make a difference. For you may never pass this way again."
