Marriage: William A. Cartwright, Jr. on March 29, 1952. To this union, three children were born: William A. Cartwright, III; Janice Cartwright, who preceded her in death; and Paul A. Cartwright.

Church Membership: She confessed a hope in Christ at an early age and was baptized at Greater Mount Olive Baptist Church in Waco, Texas. Ebenezer Baptist
