Ms. Annie Marie Cleveland began her life on December 9, 1943. She was the fourth child born to the late Reverend Willis Stephen and Lavata Jett-Cleveland in Pflugerville, Texas.

Annie accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized at David Chapel Missionary Baptist Church by the late Reverend Dawson.

She attended Pflugerville Elementary, Rosewood Elementary, Kealing Jr. High, L.C. Anderson High School and the University Texas at Austin. She was united in holy matrimony to the late Frank Washington in 1967.

Before Annie became ill in 1994, she faithfully served and participated in various auxiliaries throughout her life at David Chapel. She was once a Secretary of the Sunday school and Usher Board, President of Junior Mission, Sunday School Teacher, Training Union, Bible Study, Vacation Bible school, Senior Choir, and Women's Missions I and II.

Annie was a beloved mother and stepmother, grandmother, aunt, niece and sister. She leaves to cherish her memories; two daughters, Sharon Randle and Teresa Washington; and one son, Paul Cleveland (Yvetta); one uncle: Abner Jett of Pittsburg, California, brothers, Charles (Vernette), Thomas, Leroy, Rev. J.D. (Sallie), A.C. (Addie) Cleveland; grandchildren, Nicole, Avery, Paul Jr., Antonio Sr., William Jr., Sharron, and Breon Jr.; one great grandchild, Antonio Jr., step children: Rhonda (Michael), Daryl (Sylvia), Cynthia, Stuart (Norma), Lori, Glenda, and Kim (Lorenzo), many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her sister, Alma Jean Cleveland Thomas; and sister-in-law Louise Cleveland.
