Christopher "JJ" Walker was born September 19, 1963 in Fort Hood, Texas. He was the only child of Mr. Raymond Alexander Walker and Mrs. Gertie Mae Walker, whom preceded him in death.

He attended South San Antonio High School and served as an Accountant in the United States Air Force achieving the rank of Sergeant before being honorably discharged in 1992. After his military career, Christopher challenged himself with employment ranging from working for the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board, to being a Security Specialist for Best Buy Corporation and lastly as a housing inspector for the Austin Housing Authority.

Christopher was married to Jacqueline Renee Walker for 25 years and had two loving sons, Truitt Lee Adams and Kenneth Ray Jacobs along with his daughter, Alexandera Renee Walker.

Christopher was a loving father, devoted son and nephew and cherished friend. In his younger years he enjoyed playing on intramural softball and basketball teams and has many trophies and awards expounding upon his athletic prowess. Chris also coached summer basketball leagues, was an avid motorcycle enthusiast, and took great pride in his barbecuing skills and all around superior grilling techniques.

JJ (as many friends called him) always had a smile on his face, a joke on his lips and a funny mannerism to motivate those around him to join him in laughter. He took great pride in making sure his family was taken care of and was motivated from an early age to be a great provider for those closest to him. JJ had a heart as big as Texas and if someone was down, he would do his best to lift their spirits and make them see the "other side" of situations.

Christopher "JJ" Walker was called to eternal rest on February 18th, 2009. He will have the distinguished honor of having a Full Honor Guard burial service with his final resting place being the prestigious Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery.

He leaves with last memories, his father, Raymond Alexander Walker, his wife Jacqueline Walker; children: Alexandera Walker, Truitt Adams and Kenneth Jacobs; his grandson, Deshawn Jacobs. His father-in-law and mother-in-law, Kenneth Randolph and Vivian Randolph (preceded him in death). Three sisters-in-law: Eulonda Lea (Timothy) of Washington, DC; Karen Randolph of Charleston, South Carolina and Regina Randolph of Newport News, Virginia; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, relatives and faithful friends.
