On February 15, 1937, Barrow Collins and Lucille Preston gave birth to this world a son, Henry Collins.

As a young boy, Henry gave his life to Christ and was baptized in his hometown of Houma, Louisiana.

He met and married Rosalene and they remained married for 58 years. They had four children: Darlene Moore, Henry Collins, Jr., Carl Collins, and Randy Collins.

He and his family later moved to Austin, Texas in 1972. Later the family decided to move to Kyle, Texas where he resided until his passing.

Henry was a hard working man, who always provided for his family. His love for life and family is what kept him connected.

Henry worked at various jobs throughout his life, and later retired at D.P.S. after 20 years of service. After retirement, he took up side jobs to fill that "work bug" in him.

Family and friends are what he loved the most.

He is preceded in death by both parents, two sisters, Dimple Mae Collins and Geraldine Collins, a son, Henry Collins, Jr., a grandson Antwoine Collins, a granddaughter, Danielle Collins and a great grandson DeJanten R. Kelly

He leaves behind his wife Rosalene Collins; a sister Brenda Bunton; three children, Darlene Moore Carl Collins and Randy Collins; grandchildren, Dana Eackles, Daniel Kelly, Derrick Moore, Deann Amboree, Charmaine Collins, Robert Collins, Henry Collins, III, Julius Collins; eighteen great grandchildren; nieces and nephews, Tyrenda Bunton, Toni Bunton, Anthony Allen, Cedrick Davis, Brandon Davis, Lois White, LaTasha Gomiller; and a host of family and friends who will love and miss him dearly.
