Charlie Brown Jr. was born on April 21, 1952 to Charlie Sr. and Annie Mae (Houston) Brown.

Charlie Brown accepted Christ at an early age at Greater Mt. Moriah Primitive Baptist Church. He received his education in the Del Valle ISD.

He was an avid fisherman, a gifted builder and skilled mechanic. He had the ability to take a car completely apart and put it back together again. His smile was as beautiful as his sense of humor. He always had a joke or a funny story to tell, but just his laugh alone was enough to make you laugh with him. Charlie was loved and adored by his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Charlie and Annie Mae Brown, and his sisters Bertha Mae and Johnnie Mae.

He leaves behind to cherish his precious memories, his daughters: Lorraine, Patricia, ShaCasual and Monisha (Charles Johnson); two brothers, Lee Brown, and Isaiah Brown; brothers-in-law, Gene (Bertha Mae) Davis; Rickey Mackey (Susie) and Raymond Bradshaw (Johnnie Mae); a sister, Susie (Rickey Mackey) Brown-Mackey; grandchildren, Ashley, Ke'Adra and Kashayla, Tyesha and Cierra, Akin and Tylan, Xavia, Mylah and Charles, III; great grandchildren Jayla and Markel, Beau and Charles; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles.
