Frances Genell Williams Freeman was born the 9th child to the late Mr. Willie and Wynonia Williams on December 15, 1937 in Austin, Texas.

Frances professed a hope in Christ at an early age and was baptized by the late Rev. A. C. Clark at St. Johns College Heights Baptist Church. In 1970 she united with Black's Memorial Missionary Baptist Church under the late Rev. A. M. Patton and then Rev. L. E. Patton where she remained until her death.

Frances leaves to mourn her loved ones; the love of her life, best friend and husband, Mr. Otis Freeman Jr, three daughters: Mrs. Wanda Calvin (Charles) of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Mrs. Debbie Pennant (Michael) of Austin, Texas, Miss. Charlie Mae Freeman of Austin, Texas, one son, Mr. George Freeman Sr. (Maria) of Buda, Texas. Seven grandchildren: Tonisha Williams, Demetria Allen, Chloe Freeman (Greg), Trishanna Johnson, George Freeman Jr. (Amanda), Vesma Pennant, Shemari Freeman and eleven great-grandchildren. Four sisters: Artie Lillie Lewis of Conroe, Texas, Ruby Earl of Fresno, California, Clara Mae Baker and Wynonia Stephens both of Austin, Texas. One brother: Melvin Williams Sr. of Fresno, California, honorary parents Rev. J. D. and Sally Cleveland, honorary sisters, Vicki Hillard, Celestine Williams and a host of other relatives and friends.
