"I Looked Toward Heaven"
13 Then I heard a voice from heaven saying to me, "Write: 'Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from now on. "Yes," says the Spirit, "that they may rest from their labors, and their works follow them." Rev 14:13 (NKJV)

Sharon Renee Dorsey Gold, was born October 1, 1967 to the union of the late, Mr. Fred Douglas Dorsey, Sr. and Mrs. Elouise Davis Dorsey of Cheneyville, Louisiana. She was the youngest of six children born to this union. Known as "Renee" to her family she grew up in Meeker, Louisiana and later moved to Austin nearly 25 years ago.

Preceded in death by both parents, she peacefully departed this life at 5:25 pm, Monday, May 9, 2016.
She leaves to cherish her life her husband, Bill Clark, daughters TeNeshia Desiree Gold and Tichina Renee Gold (Byran) of Austin, Texas, and son Antonio Bernard Gold (Andreas) of Lockhart, Texas and four beautiful grandbabies, Harmony Nicole, Ezmeray Fay, Jeremiah "JJ" and Josiah "Jo-Jo", five siblings, five sisters-in-laws, eight brothers-in-laws, five nephews, three nieces, ten aunts, four uncles, and a host of cousins, friends, and other relatives.
To My Husband – thank you for loving me and sharing a life together. We had joy, laughter, good times and some not so good times, but through it all – you stuck by me. So, cry if you must, but don't cry long, release me – let me go, knowing in your heart my love for you was strong. Cherish the memories, the laughter, and our love.

To My Children – I loved you all, equally – not one more than the other. Truly, no mother could have asked for a better group of loving children. Yes, Desiree, Tichina, and Antonio shed your tears, but please my precious son and daughters, I want each of you to remember how much I loved you, your smiles, your laughter, your different personalities, funny jokes, and playing around. So hold on to the good times we shared, the laughter, and all the fun memories, but more importantly; hold me in your hearts and remember, "Mama loves you."
