Willie Earl (Itty) Mack was born May 19, 1949 to the late Will Mack and Cotis Fay Hurst in the county of Cass, city of Linden, TX. He confessed his love for Christ at an early age and was baptized at the Salem Missionary Baptist Church, Linden, TX. Continuing his journey with the Lord, he united with the Prosperity Baptist Church, New Boston, TX where he served as a Trustee and became on Ordained Deacon, January 14, 2001. He was faithful to his church until his demise.

Willie attended the original Old Fairview and Perfection Elementary Schools, and graduated from Fairview High School in 1968. After graduation he was employed at Lone Star, D&Z Ammunition Plant, Texarkana, TX, advancing to Lone Star Steel Company, Lone Star, TX and a member of US Steel Workers Union of America. He retired after 30 years of dedicated service as a journeyman level crane operator.

Willie earned his degree and was a Master Mason of the local chapter in Linden, TX.

On July 2, 1977, Willie married his soul mate, best friend and love of his life, Ruby Nell Harmon.

Willie was a man of much character, honesty, and integrity. Everybody was somebody in his eyes and it was reflected in his daily walk and talk. He enjoyed the outside admirations of God's creation as well as music, fishing, hunting and gardening.

His great legacy continues in the lives of:

Sons – DeAndrea Mack (Kia), Grand Prairie, TX and Marcus Brown (Sonjay), Mansfield, TX
Grandchildren – Ka'Terra Laniece Brown, Phoenix Simone Mack, and E'lexus Grant
Brothers – Clarence Mack, Sr., Dallas, TX and Donald Hurst, Sr., Dallas, TX
Those loved as Siblings - Vada Gardner, Alma Castleberry and Burks Mack
Uncle – Luther Hurst; Aunts – Aliowece Allen and Mary Knight; An entourage of nieces, nephews, other family members, friends and special loving neighbors.

Services entrusted to Dr. Barry J. W. Franklin, CFSP and A Life Celebration by Franklin, Taylor, Texas.
