Freddie Roy Thomas

A man loved by all, Mr. Freddie Roy Thomas departed this life on March 9, 2015, the sunrise of his father Earl Thomas. Freddie will lay to rest the day before his mother's sunset.

Freddie was the third born child of his parents Earl and Ruby Thomas of Austin, Texas. He attended the Austin Public Schools and graduated from L. C. Anderson High School, Class of 1965.

Freddie worked for Craftcore and ARA (Austin Revitalization Authority) for ten years until his health began to fail and he was no longer able to work.

Freddie accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized by Pastor David Norcester, Cuero, Texas in 1997.

He later re-dedicated his life and believed, trusted and accepted God's will. Freddie will be truly missed.

Freddie was preceded in death by his parents Earl and Ruby Thomas; two sisters, Charles Etta Tribute and Judy Sandra Thomas; one grandson Clarence Edmond Clinton and one nephew Lil Freddie Thomas.

He leaves to cherish his memory his only child Tabatha Rochelle Thomas Conley-Clinton (Edmond); one grandson Edrick Daniel Clinton; four nephews Forrest Tribute, Timothy Thomas (Tony), Patrick Thomas; two nieces Victoria Bailey (Dan) and Nicole Thomas; two step grandsons Edmond II and Carl Eddie; Brandie Grant who was raised as his daughter and LaShay Bailey as his granddaughter; three great nieces, five great nephews; and a host of other relatives and close friends.

Due to ongoing renovations to King-Tears Mortuary, flowers may be delivered to Phillips Upshaw Richard Funeral Home on Friday, March 20, 2015.
