Jack C. Harrison (Jado) was the second child born to Jack C. Alexander and Rosetta Harrison-Carrington on June 5, 1953 in Taylor, Texas.

Jack grew up in Pflugerville, Texas. He finished his education at the University of Texas.

He joined the marines where he served our country for 3 years and was discharged under honorable conditions. He was employed with Del Valle ISD and Capital Metro for 18 years.

Jack professed a hope in Christ at an early age.

On November 1, 1973, Jack was united in matrimony to RoseMary Ockletree and they shared 42 wonderful years together.

Jack was preceded in death by his mother, Rosetta Harrison-Carrington; son, Aron D. Harrison; one brother, Charles Carrington; and aunt, Mary Alexander.

He is survived by his wife, RoseMary (Rose); of Austin, Texas; mother-in-law, Myrtle Ockletree (Big Mama) of Austin, Texas; children, Jack, Michael, Andrew and Christina Harrison all of Austin, Texas; Grandchildren: Jamal, Trevon, Camryn, Tae'ja, Arriyah, Tiara, Isaiah, Naomi, Imari, Lexus, Jacory, Lavonte, Darius, Darion, Daeshawna, Jasmine; two brothers, Ernest Carrington and Herman Alexander; one sister, Joan Carrington-Stinson; two uncles, Charles Harrison and William Alexander; one aunt, Jessie Bell Mercer and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Due to ongoing renovations at King-Tears Mortuary, flowers may be delivered to Austin Peel and Son Funeral Home on Friday, Marcy 13, 2015
