Ben Everett Cooper was born June 26, 1932 in Brownsville Tennessee to T. D. Cooper, Sr. and Nealy Hay-Cooper.

He served 20 years and 2 months in the United States Military and had an outstanding record: served in Korea twice, Vietnam, Germany (Europe); received the Vietnam Service Medal w/2 Bronze Stars, Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal, Presidential Unit Citation, expert (rifle, carbine, pistol, M-14, M-16), Good Conduct Medal x 4; Bronze Star Medal, Korean Service Medal, United Nations Service Medal, Military Marksman Shooting Team, and many more.

After serving in the military, Mr. Cooper was employed with G. C. Lab in the Analytical Group (retired), Jefferson Texaco, Huntsman (retired). He also started his own business, Ben E. Cooper & Co., Inc.

Ben Everett Cooper departed this life July 27, 2014.

He was preceded in death by his father, T. D. Cooper, Sr., mother Nealy Hay-Cooper and brothers Larry, Herman, Samuel, and James Cooper.

He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife Mary Cooper; step children Arenda and Bobby Baker; and a host of other relatives, friends, and loved ones.
