Annie Louise was born on April 4, 1936 in Cedar Creek, TX to Warren William DeShay and Beaulah Vycille McKnight. She accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior at an early age and baptized at Mt. Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church where she remained a faithful member; constantly working in Mission I and as an Usher. As a child, Annie was given the nickname "Squeeze" because her sister Ruth could not pronounce her middle name Louise. She attended school in the Bastrop area and graduated from Emile High School in 1955. After high school, she attended Madame's Beauty Xchool in Austin, TX.

Annie married Otis W. Arnold Sr. and to this, union three children were born. She later married Lenwood Williams and to that union, no children were born.

Annie retired from Travis State School after 25 years of services and later went on to be a private duty caretaker. In her spare time to, she loved to make quilts, bake, thrift store shopping, and traveling.

She was preceded in death by her husband Lenwood Williams, parents, and Brother Charles A. DeShay.

To continue her legacy she leaves behind her son Otis W. Arnold Jr.; daughters, Carolyn L. Thompson-Powell (Lamont), Matron V. Bell, and La Tonya R. Pleasant. Grand Children Tiffany Thompson, Lanell Nolden, O.B. Arnold, Warren Bell, Randi Sharee Bell, Denise U'Neka Henson, and Alexus Tann and eight great grandchildren. Brothers: Warren DeShay Jr. (Marjorie) and Rev. Phillip Deshay Sr. (Retha); Sisters: Ethel Ruth Jones (C.L.), Doris Sampson, and Marilyn Haywood (Marvin); Uncle Jesse A. DeShay She shared a special bond with her cousins Erea Beatrice Anderson and Margie Johnson.
A multitude of nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Her special daughters: Angelia Allen, Barbara Allen, Barbara Felix, Brenda Johnson, Cheryll Byrd, Cheryl DeShay, Rev. Jocelyn Robinson, Judy Arnold-Hunter, Joyce Mack, Kamica Hampton, Marilyn Fagan, Mary Hill-Hubbard, and Yolanda Easley.
