She also attended Conley-Guerro Senior Activity Center, where she was exercise leader, sung in the Conley-Guerro Choir and was recognized for her volunteer hours for several years during the city-wide recognition ceremony. Delmaris took swimming lessons in the summer with the center at Mable Davis Pool and could be found with the bingo and domino group every Monday, Wednesday and Friday. After she stopped driving she still attended church and the center regularly, along with several monthly events, her last event was the Mother's Day Celebration — Hat Show along with the Mother's Day church service 2014. Delmaris was a member and enjoyed experiences and work with the Alpha Kappa Sigma Philos of Sigma Gama Rho Sorority.
