She was beautiful. She was beautiful for the way she thought. She was beautiful for that sparkle in her eyes when she talked about something she loved. She was beautiful for her ability to make other people smile even when she was sad. No, she wasn't beautiful for something as temporary as her looks. She was beautiful, deep down to her soul.


Sharon Palacios was born on November 14, 1961 in London, England to Samuel and Doris Salone, shortly after the death of her mother, Sharon was blessed to have a new home under the care of her Uncle A.T. and Aunt Jewelene Salone. Sharon graduated from L.B.J. High school and participated in extracurricular activities including Tennis. Sharon was very passionate about music especially playing the flute. She was committed to staying in shape and always working out.

Sharon later married Richard Palacios her high school sweetheart and together they watched their family grow giving birth to their first child Teisha Marie Castillo and only son Richard Palacios Jr. She was given the opportunity to have shared memorable moments with her only grandchild Sydni Victoria Castillo and build a bond of a lifetime.

Sharon was preceded in death by her father Samuel and Mother Doris Salone. Adoptive mother Jewelene Salone: Two uncles, four aunts and three grandmothers.

Her legacy and spirit lives on through the love of her family and friends. Beginning, with her husband Richard Palacios of 35 years, daughter Teisha Castillo(Joe) and son Richard Palacios Jr., granddaughter Sydni and step grandson Jose Castillo III, father Alexander T. Salone, brothers Brent and Byron Salone; Also by her beloved cousins, nieces and nephews.
