Bryan Michael Ward

Bryan Michael Ward was born on February 26, 1993 in Hinsdale, Illinois to Edward DeWayne Ward and Tina Elaine Ward, MD. He was the second of two children.

Bryan began his education in the Eanes Independent School District and graduated from Westlake High School in 2011 where he was a member of the National Honor Society and worked as a student employee of the Eanes ISD Information Technology Department. Bryan loved all aspects of computers and followed this interest to enroll at the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta, GA, where he majored in Computer Engineering. In 2013, Bryan relocated back to Austin, TX, and began working as a Field Service Technician for Ricoh, International. He was responsible for the maintenance and repair of copiers & printers for the entire Pflugerville Independent School District. He was employed there until his passing.

Bryan attended Alpha Seventh-day Adventist Church from the age of 5 years old. He was active in many church activities such as Adventurer's Club, Pathfinder's Club, Bible Bowl and the Multimedia department. He accepted Christ in March of 2003 and was baptized under the leadership of Dr. Neil Reid. Bryan continued to attend and be a member of Alpha until his passing.

Bryan was an intelligent, creative, and energetic person. He loved living in Austin and enjoyed hiking the trails at Barton Creek, riding Jet skis at Lake Travis and biking the many hills in west Austin. Bryan also loved to travel with his family and experience different cultures and locations. He loved zip lining in Costa Rica, driving ATV's in Mexico, riding elephants in Bali, hot air ballooning in Singapore and boating along the canals in Venice. Bryan also loved to be physically challenged and trained in Muay Thai (MMA) and boxing. He also loved to play golf with his parents on Sundays.

Bryan was preceded in death by his grandfather, Grady Watts; grandmother, Arqulah Mae Ward and his uncle, Grady Watts, Jr.

Bryan will be fondly remembered by all for his inspirational words and his ability to light up a room with his personality and quick witted humor.
