Lulla Williams was born to Novella Brown and Abram Richie on October 23, 1925 in El Campo, TX. She grew up and attended public school in El Campo, TX. She married Allie B. Williams and their marriage lasted over 40 years.

Lulla accepted Christ as her personal Savior and united with the Mount Olive Baptist Church under Reverend R. J. Williams where she attended actively and faithfully until she moved to Austin, TX. After moving to Austin, TX, she united with the Saint James Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Reverend B. W. McClendon.

Lulla was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Allie B. Williams; sisters Mary Gene Noble, Jewel Lee Fisher; and brothers, Alvin (Sonny) Richie, Andrew (Big Joe) Richie, and Lawrence (Bo) Williams; granddaughter, Joyce Adell Olds McKinney.

Lulla lived in El Campo all of her life, she was the owner of a Café for many years. She cooked and fed friends, family and any one in the community that was in need of a meal.

On November 25, 2013, God plucked a beautiful flower to take home where there is no more pain, headaches, tribulations, and suffering, but a place of peace and happiness.

Lulla Williams leaves to cherish her loveable memories her sister: Shirley Stevenson of Houston, TX; her daughter: Rossie Lee Herring-Gage of Austin, TX; son: Allie B. Williams, Jr. of Houston, TX; three granddaughters: Patricia Herring-Cottman, Brenda Herring, Katina Herring; four grandsons: Anthony Herring (Saretta), Dwayne Herring (Erma), Darryl Herring (Diedra), Ronald Herring (Sharon) all of Austin, TX. Special niece, Novella Roberson (Tommie) of El Campo, TX, and special granddaughter Latricia Olds who she helped raise of Austin, TX, respectively 22 great grandchildren, 20 great-great grandchildren, 10 great-great-great grandchildren, special friends and a host of relatives and friends.
