Steven Keith Bedford was the third child born to John A. and Margie N. Hendricks Bedford on July 29, 1960 at 1:20 a.m.

He grew up in the Austin/Travis County area. He attended school at Sims Elementary, Hornsby Dunlap Elementary, Popliam Elementary and Del Valle Jr. and Sr. High School.

Steven gave his life to Christ at an early age at Saint John College Heights Baptist Church and was baptized by the late Rev. Vann Brown.

Steven attended Saint Elmo Baptist Church during his youth and young adult years where he was a junior usher and a member of the youth department. Later, he joined College Heights Baptist Church.

Steven worked for AT&T for 17 years. He loved working on cars and having a good time. He loved his family and had many friends.

Steven departed this life on November 18, 2013. He was preceded in death by one son, Timothy Felder. He leaves to mourn his passing his partner of 16 years Delores Arrelano; his children, Keith and Krystal Bedford and their mother Rhonda Bedford; Quinton Furch, Ambernee McCorkel, Isaiah Bedford; Andre and Desiree Serna (stepchildren he helped raise); parents, John and Margie Bedford; siblings Charlotte Bedford-Anderson, John W. Bedford, William (Donny)Bedford, Darrell Bedford, and Douglas Bedford; eleven grandchildren; eight aunts; six uncles; three great uncles; numerous cousins, family members and friends.

Services entrusted to A Life Celebration by Franklin, Taylor, Texas.
