Mr. March Lee Willard was born October 21, 1931 in Alum Creek, Bastrop County, Texas to the late Eddie and Rada Willard. He was their only child and was affectionately known to his family and friends as "Boss".

He professed Christ at an early age. Boss attended Alum Creek Community School. He started his vocation at an early age and worked for many years at Genie Car Wash. After many years of dedicated work, he retired from Covert Ford.

He was married to Lue Ella Brown for 50 plus years. He has a stepmother, Ruby Lee Willard.

Boss never met a stranger; he was a friend to everyone. He was always willing to help out when needed, sometimes lovingly known as the "taxi driver". He had a jovial personality, always joking and laughing. He was a sports fan of the Dallas Cowboys. Boss and his wife Lue Ella always watched football and baseball games together.

March was preceded in death by his parents Eddie and Rada Willard. He leaves fond memories to Lue Ella, the love of his life. March Willard had four children: Janice Willard of Austin, Texas, Arma Gean Ford, Thelma Grant and March Lee Williard, II of Lubbock, Texas; fourteen grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren also survive him.
