Caroline was the third child born to Daniel Scott, Jr. and Mary Jane Strambler Scott on May 22, 1954 in LaGrange, Texas. The family later moved to Houston and finally settled in Austin. Caroline attended the Austin ISD.

At an early age she accepted Christ as her personal Savior at Mt. Zion Baptist Church under the leadership of the late Rev. Salem A. Davis. Caroline was a member of the Riverettes Gospel singers which consisted of her grandmother, mother, two of her brothers, Melvin and Thomas. In support of her brother, Rev. M.S. Manor, Sr. she moved her membership to St. Elmo Baptist Church and then she followed him to St. Paul Baptist Church.

Caroline was blessed with a son, Adrian DeShawn Crenshaw.

Caroline's first job was at Uncle Van's Pancake House! She later worked for AISD and Capitol Metro Bus Company.
Caroline was preceded in death by her father, Daniel Scott, grandparents, Daniel Scott and Mattie Scott & S.Q. Strambler and Martha Anderson Rivers.

Caroline leaves to cherish her memories, a loving devoted son, Adrian D. Crenshaw, mother, Mary Jane Scott, siblings, Lee Daniel Scott (Julie), Joyce Nettles, Mary Ann Scott, Johnny Scott (Sharon), Melvin Scott Manor, Sr. (Darlene) and Thomas Eugene Scott (Jacquelyn) a host of nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts, cousins and friends.
