Michael Dion Kerr, Jr., affectionately known to us as our "Mikey", was born January 30, 1994 in Austin, Texas. He was the second child and the first son to his loving parents, Michael Kerr, Sr. and Karen Arnold.

Mikey professed his love for Christ and was baptized on October 23, 2005, at Peaceful St. James Baptist Church under the pastoral direction of Dr. Rev. John Townsend, Sr.

He attended school in the Austin Independent School District and later graduated from Lockhart High School in May 2012. He was currently attending his 2nd year of college at Huston-Tillotson, University in Austin, Texas, where he was majoring in Political Science.

Although Mikey had a love for track and football, his true passion was for basketball and was always up for a good game.

Anybody that knew Mikey knew he was a sweet and caring person with an infectious smile, joyous personality and full of contagious laughter, known to the family as the jokester. He loved to sing, spend time with his son, family and friends.

On September 3, 2013, Mikey was called home by his Father, our Lord in Savior, Jesus Christ. He will be remembered and missed by many and loved forever.

Mikey was preceded in death by his grandfather, Curtis Kerr.

Mikey leaves to cherish his memories, his beloved son, Coel Michael Kerr-Perry (Lawrencia Perry); parents, Michael Kerr, Sr. and Karen Arnold (Heman Bowen); Grandparents, Charles and Vera Arnold, Betty and Larry Mayo; Sisters, Jason Michelle Arnold, Jazzmin Roberts (Sergio Ledesma), Karen Kerr, and Braxton Graham; Brothers, Benny Graham, Malik Quinn and Derderick Kerr; and a host of Aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends.
