On February 08, 1938, Reginald Smith, Sr. was born in Austin, Texas to Clint Smith, Sr. and Willie Woods Smith. He attended Rosewood Elementary School, Kealing Junior High School and graduated from old L.C. Anderson High School, Class of 1955. Reginald briefly attended both Lincoln University and Temple University in Pennsylvania. In 1958, he married Margaret Ann Jolley and was drafted into the U.S. Army, serving 3 years and was honorably discharged in 1961. Prior to fulfilling his dream of becoming an Entrepreneur, he worked for the U.S. Department of State and the University of Texas-Austin.

As an Entrepreneur, he owned and partnered various businesses, a Burger King franchise; travel agencies: Trans-Caribbean Tours, All Pro Ticket and Tours @ Bergstrom Air Force Base and dry cleaners: Speedy Cleaners, the "original" Fashion Cleaners and All Pro Cleaners. His business career led him to reside in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; Detroit, Michigan; Kingston, Jamaica, Lockhart and Austin, Texas. He was passionate about helping under privileged youths and the community. He was devoted to motivating and assisting others to pursue their education and business ownership.

Reginald is preceded in death by his father and mother, Clint Smith, Sr. and Willie Woods Smith. He is survived by his wife, Margaret Ann Smith; three sons, Reginald B. Smith (Jennifer), Stephen C. Smith (Catrina) and Eric L. Smith (Trina); daughter, Caris M. Smith; brother, Clint Smith, Jr. (Colleen); four granddaughters, Olivia, Victoria, Mikayla, Kyndall and one grandson, Sincere; and a host of family and friends.
