On November 12, 1942, the world was blessed by the birth of a beautiful and special baby girl, who would make an outstanding impact on all who would ever be touched by her life. Elnora "Doll" was the daughter of the late James Lee Walker and Mary Jewel Kimble, in Austin, Texas. She left her earthly dwelling peacefully on the evening of January 02, 2013.

Elnora or Doll as she was lovingly called, matriculated through the educational systems in Corpus Christi, Texas and Austin, Texas where she graduated from L.C. Anderson High School of Austin in 1961. Doll worked many years in the insurance industry and was a great seamstress. Doll accepted Christ and was baptized at an early age. She united at Rosewood Avenue Baptist Church in 1976 under the late Rev. J.W. Richardson. Doll served faithfully as a Sunday school teacher, vacation bible school teacher, church secretary, director of the youth auxiliary, and a driver in the church transportation ministry. Also, Doll sang in the Senior and Ever Ready choirs as well as the vice president of Mission #1 and secretary of Missions I and II. She was well known for sending out cards to members and non-members for almost every occasion. As a servant, she worked with the Hope Basket preparation and distribution of meals to senior citizens in the community. As you can see, she dedicated her life to the Christian ethic of service to others.

Doll was preceded in death by her parents and grandparents, one son Anthony Dion Walker, two brothers Chris and Frank Alexander, and one niece Phyllis Walker. Doll's greatest legacy will live on in her family of whom she loved dearly: Her son, Michael T. Walker, her daughter Jennifer K. Walker(Reginald). Grandchildren: Krystal (Charlotte, NC) Quincy, Anthony Jr., "Brownie", Jerah "GiGi", Dominic "Wooga" and A'Naijah "Kiwi". Her oldest and dearest friend of fifty years, Naomi Greer and very special friends, Rev. Lawrence Curry, Mary Hatfield, Alva Carter, Dorothy Mials, Lupe Martinez, Robin Mulligan and Lena Law-Williams; Doll had two special friends in Dallas: Paula Boleware and Q.T. Last but not least, she loved her Rosewood Avenue Church family.
