Alfred Hall was born on January 12, 1966 to Willard Hall Sr. and Earline Hall in Washington, Texas. He was the youngest of nine children. His friends and family lovingly called him "Quank".

Alfred accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior at an early age. This confession of faith was expressed while he attended Goodwill Missionary Baptist Church in Washington County, Texas. Alfred faithfully served Goodwill in several capacities until the start of his professional career in Austin, Texas. After relocating, Alfred transferred membership to David Chapel Baptist Church to continue the work of his Christian faith. He used his time and talent serving as Church Trustee and on the Technology Committee. In the latter portion of his life, Alfred joined Mount Sinai Baptist Church maintaining his faith in Jesus Christ.

Alfred attended secondary schools within the Brenham Independent School District in Brenham, Texas where he received his diploma in May 1985. Alfred attended Blinn Junior College (Brenham, TX) and Sam Houston State University (Huntsville, TX) graduating with Associate of Arts (1987) and Bachelor of Business Administration (1990) degrees respectively. Alfred worked significant hours while pursuing personal improvement through education.

Alfred's professional career started in June 1990 where he was employed by the Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts and later the Teachers Retirement System. Alfred commendably served the state of Texas for over twenty years specializing in Information Technology.

Alfred was joined in marriage to Katrina Hodge in June 1995. The birth of their only child, Joshua, was product of a marriage spanning over seventeen years. Alfred loved his family tremendously, and illustrated that by being a compassionate husband, an outstanding father and provider, an ultimate brother, and a devoted uncle.

Alfred was preceded in death by both his father and mother, Willard and Earline Hall Sr. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of seventeen years, Katrina, his only beloved son, Joshua, three dedicated sisters: Esther Hall, Lottie Hall, Robert M. Johnson (Karl) all of Brenham, TX, five brothers: Willard Hall, Jr.(Debbie) of Washington County, TX, John Hall of Austin, TX, Earl Hall (Lisa) of Dickinson, TX, Alvin Hall (Tracey) of Round Rock, TX, and Robert L. Hall of Austin, TX. He is also survived by his father and mother in-law, Robert and Lucy Hodge, brother and sister in-law, Carl and Felechia Hall all of Angleton, TX. Alfred leaves seven nephews: Keith Hall (Gwendolyn), Jordan Sidney, Isaac Hall (Danielle), Ryan Hall, Jacoby Perry, Walter Hall, and John A. Hall.
