Sidney Clark, Jr., was born on October 27, 1935 in Georgetown, Texas. Sidney was the second oldest child of Sidney and Louise Clark.

Deacon Clark was a dedicated, long standing and faithful Deacon. He was an example to all and a true inspiration to his Pleasant Grove Family. Deacon Clark served God and his church faithfully and wholeheartedly. He loved the Lord with all his heart, mind and soul; and he truly loved his family, relatives and friends.

Sidney attended public schools and upon graduation he joined the military. Sidney selflessly served his country and retired from the United States Air Force after 21 years of dedicated service. He then worked and retired from the State of Texas.

Deacon Clark was preceded in death by his parents; a brother James; and his first wife Marjorie.

He leaves to mourn his loving wife Julya Guins-Clark, three daughters; Nancetta Wilson (Vincent), Alicia McFadden (Ken), Brigethia Guins, one son Jerroll Guins (Katrina), one brother; Alfred Clark, five sisters; Annie Rae Byers, Joan Jones, Betty Hall (Reaven), Sharon Beasley (Ralph), DeLaura Johnson, 11 grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
