Corrine Hyder-Dove was born May 3, 1917, in Jonah, Texas to William and Menvin Hyder. Corrine could do whatever she set her mind to do. In the natural it was said she had a 1st grade education but in the spirit she possessed a PhD in sharing the gospel.

Corrine spent the majority of her life as a domestic house keeper and picked cotton at the age of 5 years old. She married Johnny Dove whom she loved and cherished all her life.

Corrine gave her life to Jesus Christ at a young age and committed her life to being his servant. She was a member of King Christian House of Prayer in Marlin, Texas. During her lifetime she served in the Youth Department, Women's Ministry, Church Secretary, Helps Ministry, Kairos Prison Ministry, Church Mother and Missionary Department. In between the times of her ministry assignments she spread the gospel to strangers at hospitals, bus stops, restaurants, grocery stores, banks, retail stores and any other place the Holy Spirit led her to share. Corrine strength her faith by participated in a Walk to Emmaus (Walk #314), a three-day journey that looks at Christianity as a lifestyle.

Corrine was preceded in death by her loving husband, father, mother, one sister and two brothers. She leaves behind many family, friends, and fellow servants in the Lord.
